The workshop location the Hyatt Regency Cologne is situated right on the riverside, with a fantastic view over the Rhine, cologne’s old City and of course the Cathedral, the DOM. That’s why it was Michael Jackson’s favorite hotel in Germany, where he loved to stay several times.
The right side of cologne, opposite the roman city walls, is called KÖLN-DEUTZ. The next train station, 5 minutes from the hotel away, is KÖLN-DEUTZ / MESSE. Its cologne second largest train station and all regional trains are stopping there. Also some ICE (German High Speed Trains) are stopping there ( Track 11/12).
If you arrive at the Main Train station, one possibility is to use the S-Bahn at track 10. You can take every train; all will take you over the bridge and will stop at Köln-Deutz. For the opposite direction take the trains on track 10 in Deutz.
Another possibility is a 15 min foot walk, to get a nice impression from the DOM, the Rhine and the old city. Leaving the building, you find yourself in front of the DOM, you can climb up the stairs, or you find an elevator on the right side. Then you go around the DOM towards the Rhine, cross the bridge and you immediate see the Hyatt on the opposite side.

Also taxies are available at the main train stations and at Köln-Deutz.
Going by car, the main orientation is Köln-Messe. If you reach the entrance EAST (Deutz MülheimerStr.), the next orientation is the center of cologne, which will takes you to the new LFR Tower.(Turning right from the Deutz Mülheimer Str after the underpass on the Opladenerstr. )
Taking the plane to Cologne, you can fly directly to the airport Cologne/Bonn. But also Frankfurt and Düsseldorf are very good connected. Frankfurt by different ICE-lines , Düsseldorf by regional trains.
